El Sol & Reflections on Turkey Tail Mushrooms
The Sun is one of our most valuable allies for our health. I have heard for years that you should sun gaze in the mornings and in the evening, basically when the sun is rising and setting. But I never took it all that seriously, just kind of thinking well, I will do it when I can , maybe someday when I have time to sit out on a porch, like when I am an old retired lady. But recently I decided to get serious about my dates with the Sun, out of desperation. I hadn't been sleeping well and so I decided it couldn't hurt to try. Even though it seemed counterintuitive to wake up early when I was so tired, I tried it. It turned into a new date ritual for my husband and I , meeting each other out on the road where we have the best view of the Sun rising. We have missed a few days here and there, and I definitely notice I don't seem to sleep that well on those days. I know you should also ideally get at least 2 hours of sun exposure in the morning and 2 in the evening, and then after awhile start working your way up to more exposure during the day as well, as that is the time that you can absorb vitamin D the best. That has been a challenge for me, but I think like anything else, you should obviously just do what you can and not stress about the rest. I'm trying to do my best to focus on how to be less stressed out by things and focus on my own emotional regulation. Realizing how important it is for my children's regulation helps to prioritize this. When the mother is disregulated it disregulates the children almost immediately. I've definitely seen, first hand. I got super stressed out the other day , I don't even remember why except that I was definitely extremely overwhelmed because it was right before I quit the work at home job I've been doing. It was an enjoyable job , and I enjoyed helping people who are going to see a functional medicine doctor I know, but it was just way too much to do. My children do way better with very minimal screen time, and we have finally gotten quite "detoxed" from it...I know it sounds extreme and I know some kids do fine with screen boundaries etc , and I'm happy for the families that that works for ! But as for us , we do much better with very minimal exposure to screens, and a lot of time in sun and nature. We had a great field trip the other day to a friend's house. We met her at the farmers market and she has a sweet little farm with a garden, chickens, turkeys and ducks ! It was so great for them to go visit her, and she encouraged me to continue to help them fall in love with nature. Something that helps me with my stress levels is to focus on the very thing I'm trying to preserve in my children by limiting their screentime: imagination. I feel like we tend to believe that as we grow older, our imagination serves less and less purpose. However, I believe the opposite is true. If anything, our imagination rivals the Sun in being one of our most powerful allies. Neville Goddard teaches that if you can imagine something, you can bring it to fruition. My family and I recently experienced this in abundance , a lot of things happened on the same day , even though the money did not all come in technically on that day, we heard from several.places about refunds , deposits that will be coming back to us, a subscription being refunded that was way overcharged ...all kinds of things like that. As well as our car was fixed for $7 instead of $270 ! We had been imagining all these things happening for us, as well as the kids grandma even led them in an imagination session about the car working again. I remembered back to when Zephyr was about a year old when I decided to experiment with scripting. I would write in my journal how I wanted to next day to go, but as if the day had already gone by. Like for example it would say : this morning we woke up and everything went really well, it was a productive day and Zeph was in a good mood. I made it pretty detailed, depending on what was going on. And it seemed to help a lot, at least with keeping me positive and whatnot. It didn't necessarily always come true 100% but I just rolled it over into the next day as a goal to be achieved. I am not sure why I stopped doing this type Journaling but I'd like to start again. One of my favorite quotes of all time is "everything is always working out for me " or "everything is always working out for us !!!" At first I struggled with worrying that this would seem like a selfish statement but then quickly realized that when I say this I am implying that it IS also working out for you as well. For everyone. There is no lack in the universe! These are just constructed thoughts in our mind that just because someone has it good , someone else needs to have things go wrong for them. Why can't we just all have it good ? One of my favorite Neville Goddard quotes says

this reminds us that playing the victim card in our life situations is to be so unaware of what is really going on. Trying to reflect on this quote throughout my day and even my night really helps with keeping my thought patterns in line and makes such a big difference.
Another thing that makes a big difference in my life is Medicinal Mushrooms. A customer just messaged me saying she needs more Reishi Elixir, it has been helping her with her oxygen saturation. She said they had put her on inhalers and other scripts because her oxygen was dropping , mostly at night. The Reishi seems to be helping because it strengthens the respiratory system ! I'm so happy when I get good reviews like this. Several other customers have said it has helped them in their struggles with cancer. I'm so excited to announce that I finally have a Turkey Tail Triple Extract Elixir in my shop now !!

This mushroom is one of the most studied of all the mushrooms, it has such great benefits for all kinds of virus issues , as well as for immunity. One of its best benefits is how well it works to prevent and support cancer issues. I have had a lot customers rave about how the Reishi Elixir has helped them in their cancer journey and I am excited to see how well the Turkey Tail will help them as well. Turkey Tail also has an indirect antibiotic activity, meaning it can help to work synergistically with other antimicrobial herbs. I find my self thinking I wish I would have had this beautiful medicine when my dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 , but then I catch myself

And think of this quote. It is so harmful for us to have regrets. I do believe that the Universe and the Source of all things has already conspired to bring us the exact lessons we need for our life. It's easy to look at things with dismay and think "this situation is not perfect. It is not what I want." But there is no imperfection truly in the world that we live in it is only our interpretation of it that gives us the idea that things are quote unquote "wrong" . So I choose to believe that everything is perfectly the way it should be and Everything is Always Working Out for Me. I finally finished writing this on the Full Moon 🌝 🌕 ✨️
